DRUG ADDICTION!!!THE ESCAPE ROUTE


Kunle grew up with fire in his eyeballs.You could see
excellence written all over him.Right from his primary
school days,he stood out in his class till his time in the
university.He graduated with the best result during his
set and got a mouth watering offer that made him the
envy of his friends.
But alas,presently he is unemployed,his wife having
moved out of their matrimonial home thereby taking
custody of the children after filing for divorce.He is
disillusioned with life and contemplating suicide,but
all he remembers is an act he  learn t  from
friends during his undergraduate years which has
brought him to the brink of ruin.He was introduced
to drugs and grew in the act which is now responsible
for his life being in tatters.
Drug addiction is a social vice that has destroyed
countless lives,destinies,careers,homes,businesses etc.It
inflicts pain on people irrespective of their social,political,
economic and spiritual status in life.It is a form of abnormality
in conduct and character that make people become irresponsible,
unproductive and unprofitable in life.
There are various forms of addiction in life like alcohol,tobacco,
betting,gambling,gluttony etc.
Many people have taken steps to curb,manage or minimize the
damage done by such vices but alas ''A man's way is not in
himself''(Jeremiah 10:23)i.e A man's solution to his problems
is not in himself,but in God.Therefore,the reformatory homes,
the stabilizing drugs and rehabilitation centers may not achieve
much without recourse to God.

2.Openness to God-Isaiah 1:18
3.Accept Jesus today-Romans 10:9-10
4.Reject wrong company-Proverbs 1:10;1Corinthians 15:33
5.Pray warfare prayers-Psalm 65:2
6.Get counsel-Proverbs 11:14

COVENS AND ITS VICTIMS Since it has been scripturally established that covens are dark places where evil is perpetrated,I would be laying emphasis on the victims of the covens. Coven victims are people like you and me.Men,women, boys and girls can be victims in the covens.
